23A review of the isometric RPG "Shadowrun Returns," with comparisons to its successors Shadowrun: Dragonfall and Shadowrun: Hong Kong.
I decided to replay the first Shadowrun game after completing the other two. I didn't remember it well, and I wanted to see how it compared.

1. I forgot to mention it but, as was noted in the comments, Shadowrun: Dragonfall does have an updated version of the Dead Man's Switch campaign. I uninstalled Dragonfall and, due to the bugs I kept encountering in it, don't intend to try that updated version of Dead Man's Switch. (I read that the update doesn't change much. Though, I imagine that certain mechanical things are better, such as Acid Bolt existing, Trauma Kits being more helpful, etc.)
2. There is also a modded version of the campaign, which was migrated over to Shadowrun: Hong Kong. It does change some things in the campaign: adds more flavor text, story tweaks, etc. It's highly praised and sitting at 5/5 stars with 490 ratings on Steam.
