Mixamo is a service, now owned by Adobe and currently free, that enables you to quickly animate 3D models from a massive library of stock animations.

Models can be created and uploaded using a standard t-pose, or you can simply download just animations to apply to your existing model. You can also use Fuse to create your models. I reviewed Fuse here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jz1VNG24VLk
