Gaming Hardware 5 | Anbernic RG280V | Part 1-First Look
Various Anbernic devices have been released as well as plenty of other handheld emulation devices from similar companies and I often pass them by as many of them are poorly built and often do not run very well. No HDMI output or analogue sticks for this one, but if you just want a very compact unit with a fairly good screen which can also come with lots of games that work well with a control pad, then I think this might be one of the better ones. In this short first video we take a brief look around the unit and play a couple of games from the SNES emulator, many other emulators and games included in this unit that I purchased. Advertised as having 2500 games with the 32GB card option, obviously many are likely to be either similar versions of the same games and some may not play very well, but I imagine a very large number of games will work on this no problem. Plenty more play testing to be done to see for sure. Note that my camera and the lighting does not pick up the quality of the screen very well most of the time but it does look nice when playing.
