Marty O'Donnell, former Bungie employee and composer of the Halo games and Destiny, will join a documentary about video game music, according to a Kickstarter blog post from the producers of The Players' Score: A Video Game Music Documentary. The project took to Kickstarter this month to fund the feature-length documentary. Their lineup of interviews includes the composers of games like Journey, Mega Man Final Fantasy, and more. The Players' Score has 9 days remaining in its Kickstarter campaign. Organizers announced today that pledges of $10 or more will receive the soundtrack.

In a new trailer for Dying Light, developer Techland shows off a new multiplayer mode. Pre-orders of the survival horror shooter grant players free access to the “Be the Zombie” DLC which allows players to control the Night Hunter, a zombie predator that invades online players’ co-op games. The Night Hunter comes complete with its own set of upgradable abilities and moves.

Ubisoft is opening a new business office in Moscow. The new team will provide community development and support to Russian customers, including a new Ubisoft YouTube channel for the territory. Ubisoft cites anticipated growth in the Russian market over the coming years as the reason for the move. The publisher also notes that Russia logged the most active players during a beta test for The Crew. The office will be led by Olga Lazareva, who previously headed up EA’s business development operations in the territory. Ubisoft is now present in 30 countries, with more than 40 production and business offices around the world.

Rockstar Games released a new update for Grand Theft Auto Online. The update is called The Last Team Standing, and it introduces new weapons, gear, vehicles, Creator features, and ten new Jobs across Los Santos and Blaine County.

Obsidian and publisher Paradox have announced that Pillars of Eternity has been delayed. The title will now arrive sometime in early 2015. The roleplaying game was successfully funded on Kickstarter with nearly $4 million raise. The game was originally slated for delivery in April 2014.
