Gaming on M2 iPad Pro 2022 Call of Duty Gameplay Low Graphics but Fast Game Controller Response

An example of how to get the fastest game controller response when playing Call of Duty Mobile on the iPad Pro M2. In fact, any iPad.

When playing touch, it doesn't matter what the balance is with your graphics and frame rate settings, your touch speed response will always be how you set it for sensitivity.

Unfortunately, when playing with a game controller the higher the graphics quality setting the slower and more laggy your controller response becomes. This is regardless of increasing the controller sensitivity and speeds as the highest and fastest settings won't compensate for the lag introduces by the graphics setting.

So to get the best game controller response for CoD on the iPad. You need to set the graphics quality to the lowest, set the frame rate to the highest and then set your sensitivity etc. to get your final controller response and speed.

It's a bit of a bummer really as you can't get the full benefit of the great looking graphics in CoD on the iPad Pro M2 if you want competitive response times on your game controller :(

Here's my iPad Pro gaming setup for playing on an external monitor. This basically turns your iPad Pro, or other USB C enabled iPads, in to a game console. I call this console mode.

You don't need all the stuff I use, just the USB C hub and game controller are enough to get you playing in console mode on an external monitor or TV. The USB C hub will give you HDMI and Ethernet connections. For an iPad Pro this basically turns it in to a 4K 60 FPS gaming console.

While I'm now using the iPad Pro M2, the iPad Pro M1 and iPad Pro 2020 are just as good and are actually better than the M2 with certain functions on certain games. I've not used the 2018 iPad Pro but I'm going to imagine that it will also be great for gaming to an eternal monitor.

Basically, just replace my choice of iPad Pro for your own choice, even the other iPads with USB C will work, such as the iPad Mini 6th Gen, some of the Airs and the new iPad 10th Gen but these won't do 4K except for an M1 Air or any future iPad with an M processor.
