While there were plenty of old school racers during the days of the Gen 6 consoles that really made an impact in the gaming world, there was one racing game in particularly that would erupt onto the scene as one of the greatest ever. Developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts in September 2004, Burnout 3: Takedown was an incredible racing game that no one expected, and it has stood the test of time as one of the best in the racing genre. For this gaming revisit, I will be reviewing the third game in the Burnout franchise, and give a few reasons as to why it will forever be known as an iconic arcade racer.

FYI: The song in the background is Ozone, which plays in the background while you're setting up your profile in Burnout 3: Takedown.
