First of all, let me just point out that once I enter the mural room, you can just skip to 3:40 for the action unless you want to watch three minutes of Cloud and Sephiroth being stoned.

Once again we have a very annoying segment, as there is a dragon that must be dealt with and he is luck reliant and takes three minutes and forty seconds to reach. For this battle to go down perfectly, he must use Red Dragon Breath on Tifa and the first Deathblow must not miss. I don't know the exact chance of that happening, but I'd guess about 1/10. Thankfully, it's a rather easy path up to the battle, except for the menu stuff, but that's in the very beginning, so it's no big deal if you screw it up.

The Red Dragon battle marks the first use of the Powersoul strategy that will be used in most of the remaining battles. The Powersoul combined with Death Sentence, critical HP and Deathblow makes Tifa deal 16 times normal damage. The only problem with this strategy is that Deathblow will miss often, but not when the enemy is paralyzed, so I only had to deal with one potential miss here, but I need to use it four times versus Demons Gate, and he cannot be paralyzed.

After the battle there is still some stuff to do, like another menu visit and some walking that will affect things later. I managed a minor mistake in the end when I somehow hit the action button while the memory card was loading, but that's only a second lost if it actually affects anything at all. I had to redo this segment three times already because of other stupid mistakes, so I'd rather not redo it again.

So, while some segments take two years to pass, this one only took two days. The next segment is much harder, so it'll most likely take much longer. If I don't complete it by the end of the week, it might take a month, as I'll be away pretty much the rest of the month after that. We'll see what happens. We'll see.
