Gas Dryer Is Not Getting Heat | Found The Problem | Part 2

Before replacing any parts, first, test for continuity. If all parts are running properly, it is very possible that web and dust are the cause to low gas pressure or low flame. So before you change out the coil or gas valve, try cleaning the area.

In my case, I found web inside the gas pipe behind the dryer. I used a thin stick to clear out the web, First, you must unplug the power and shut off the gas. Then unhook the gas pipe. Clean out that area. How does spider web get in there? I have no idea, but dont rule out the possibility.

Next, I take out the whole piece of the gas valve, as you can see, and clean out the tip where the gas flow out. Surprisingly, I found alot of web inside the tip.

Put everything back together and give it a run. Make sure to secure everything and put everything back the way it were. I think there is video that can show you how to change out the gas valve, in case you get lost LOL. Before taking things out, you can always try taking picture of it. Anyway, I hope this help!!!
