Gauntlet: Dark Legacy [PS2] - 24 - Gnarled Branches
0Tackling Gnarled Branches here. I dunno.. for whatever reason, I don't like this stage. The rain is a neat addition though, so plus there. It just has you waste a lot of keys by probing into your like of collecting loot.. so you'll blow keys on low-level fruit, junk, and explosions. Then, at the end, it taunts you with four treasure chests that you have to pull switches to access and then backtrack for. But you probably don't have the keys to open them.. but hey, white crystals! Meh.
Also, we collect the Scimitar of Decapitation.. which will come in handy VERY shortly.
Full disclosure, I did think about savestating as soon as I realized wasting keys was probably going to be a thing.. which is why there was an edit at two chests. I decided to not go that route, though, and just took them on as I found them.
