Gauntlet: Slayer Edition - 02 - Crypts, pt2 [Valkyrie]
0To start here, I turned off the mouse cursor in the recording software. It came off as more of a distraction when watching back the footage of the first part during editing.
Anyway, I switch to the weapon that does a 360 slash with a halberd. The shield toss is neat, but you have no control over it.. and you can't shield block while it's flying (obviously).
Also, I'm trying to get used to using the shield both before and after a spear thrust. Before, to avoid wall crashes and to pass through the bigger enemies. After, to cancel the delay. Honestly, the before is turning out to be harder to get used to.
...getting the timing of things down is also turning out to be harder than I thought.
My first (full) deaths are here due to some stupid mistakes. Oh well. The footage is cut except for the final death of each.. then followed by the successful run.
Regardless, the first boss is down. Not as much of a chore as I remember him being, but we'll see what the future holds. I don't remember much about the next area.
