Gauntlet: Slayer Edition - 04 - Caves, pt2 [Valkyrie]
0Had to try recording this multiple times. My left hand was shaking way too much for it to be competent. I was missing shield blocks, my movement was erratic, and at one point I pushed the Windows key.. which was all kinds of disastrous. Might've been ok if I used a controller, but I play with keyboard and mouse.
I mean, I know I have shaky hands, but this was BAD.
Anyway, once my hand figured itself out, we finished the Caves in this part. Pretty straightforward. The hardest bit was the fight against the two spider queens right at the start. Not sure if it's only the Valkyrie that's hampered against them or what, but man that was annoying.
The last procedural cave dropped the darkness gimmick, which is nice for me and you.. but kinda made the stage a complete nonissue.
As for the boss, he's not nearly as much of a chore as the mummy king. Just smash him stick and move style, then avoid him when he goes on a rage because he's invincible for a bit.
Again, I don't remember much of the next area.. so we'll see.
