23Defeating Morak is no easy feat. Between all the traps, limited food, no potions, every type of enemy (besides things like spiders) and more, it's painfully easy to fail. Especially on hard when getting hit once is basically a death sentence. However! Beating him is not too terrible if you're decent at the same.
First off, I strongly suggest you do this fight with as few people as possible. I failed for a straight hour or two doing it with randoms, where as my first solo attempt was successful. The main issue being you can't control things as well, nor are you given a lot of leeway, so it's best not to have too many people playing. Also keep in mind that the food will always appear under where the sword is.
The other big thing is to pick skills/weapons that kill enemies quickly. There are a finite amount of them and it's a lot easer to do this if you're killing them faster than they're killing you.
The final tip is to focus on the most lethal, helpful (bomber) or most pressing threats before worrying about other things. Once you're down to just the boss and peons it's quite easy to stay alive as long as you don't do something stupid.
