The Red Rider is a the embodiment of a hyper focused suit, it has three melee weapons each useful in different situation based on what hitboxs you need to both hit the enemy, the speed you need and how much space you are working along side the terrifying heavy attack that will do a huge amount of damage if it lands and a massive range for a melee attack that might outrange the pixies machine guns.
being as specialised as it is the suit has many flaws, It's machine gun while not terrible as a weapon suffers from using the suit's non-existent ranged mod, it often has a harder time getting opportunities to close in than many other melee focused suits due to a lack of good stun options, The heavy attack takes awhile to charge, is easy to react to, can draw a lot of unwanted attention your way with it's glow and will easily knock over your team if used carelessly.
The suit is capable of amazing things far better than I can do with it but it's flaws make it hard to take full advantage of it's strengths.
Things to keep in mind while using it are
- Remember your other weapons, the Heavy attack is great but predictable and your other melee weapons are great at combing suits that lack a dodge roll.
-The range of your heavy attack, Try not to barrel into allies too often or leave yourself open to too many potential tackles at once.
- Priority 4, The Heavy attack will go through any melee attacks barring other heavy attacks by using that you can interrupt someone attempting to combo an ally and punish them with a huge amount of damage.
- AREUS not HADES, The AREUS system might share many features with EXAM and HADES but it does not increase your damage, save it for when you need the extra speed, limb repair or when you don't think you'll live to see the end of the time limit.
