After being a rather weak option at it's cost for so long the ZZ Gundam finally has both it's transformation and beam cannons, the former might not be too practical for it but the beam cannons are very much a massive buff giving it an instant stun option letting it combo into an uncharged rifle shot for some nasty damage.
even with this massive change the suit is still a massive target, relatively easy to stun and an unimpressive amount of boost but at least now it can effectively help both itself and it's team.
