A military enthusiast who bought an Iraqi army tank on eBay found five gold bars hiding in it. When Nick Mead got his Russian-made T54/69 tank, he was planning to renovate it and use it as part of his tank-driving experiences business. As the previous owner had found machine gun ammunition inside, Mr Mead thought that weapons could be hidden inside the diesel tank. He couldn't imagine that he would have found £2m worth of gold hiding in the diesel tank.
