gbs-control - Chrono Cross test on PS2 (YPbPr)
0This is a test of using gbs-control to convert YPbPr into a VGA signal, routed into an OSSC, captured with a Datapath E1s.
The purpose of this video is to demonstrate general video quality as well as 240p - 480i switching.
The result is that there are some notable video artifacts - predominantly, some checkerboarding and scan-line tearing - but 240p to 480i switching works quite well.
There was no tweaking done to any capture settings to try to facilitate better capture or display output. Video quality on my LG 4k monitor matched that captured by the Datapath, including resolution switching and the video tearing.
