Grapplers were Drones that used grappling hooks to climb on buildings, vehicles and others things. I also managed to use console commands to give this Locust a Lancer, Snub and grenades. Like for Lancer, I used "GiveWeapon GearGame.GearWeap_AssaultRifle" and that can give Grappler a Lancer. And don't you love the eyes of that hammerhead-looking helmet? I mean look at the beam thing on the it. Looks even cooler than Spotter and Cyclops in my eyes.

Spawning a Grappler, like Drone and Sniper, sometimes spawn with Sniper goggles and that's not my favorite style for the Grappler. It's bad enough the Locust's goggles have no glow on it in this game. That's why I don't like how Locust Sniper in this game looks that much. Back in my modding campaign moment in this game using Horizon and a USB flash drive, after I was able to get a checkpoint with a Locust Drone with the goggles, I was then able to change into a Theron and my Theron Elite himself was able to use a Sniper's goggles, which did made him look kind of cool. But yeah, after COG Gear killed me and I spawned myself as Grappler again, I couldn't get the helmet at first. To play as him, you use the command of SpawnPlayerPawn LocustGrapplingDrone. After the attempts, I was finally able to make him have on the hammerhead helmet again and I just love the way that and the shoulder pads look.

Last thing, there's a Wingman glitch where if a last player on a team gets killed and you spawn someone on that time, the game or round will not end, even if everyone is dead, or even if the time limit reaches zero. And like before, this is the only game mode, versus wise, that Lambent ai moves around and attack and they only side with the third team . And no one spawns with the 4th team, who's often mute, talk wise, unless warning grenades, getting meatshield or frag/torque tagged and some other, like round start(very rare). Same happened with the 5th team in Gears of War 2.

But anyways, enjoy the Locust Grappler Drone showcase. I really do miss this guy, I wish all Drone variants were playable. In this PC build for MP, you can play as G2's Beast Rider as well as Bolter and Cyclops. And to play as the Grenadier Elite version of a Beast Rider, you type in the console command, SpawnPlayerPawn LocustBeastRider and you spawn as a Beast Rider Grenadier Elite with a Hammerburst only. If you do that however, you cannot pick up weapons, ammo or trade weapons with anyone. That's also how you can play as a Locust on the COG side as well as a COG him/herself siding with Locust. And lol Grappler enjoys ripping off COG Gear's arm and beating him up with it. This is how the arm rip execution should had been for Gears 5.
