Gems of War - E12 teams (EP35) - A deer, rabbit and unicorn walk into a bar...
0...you heard that joke? Yeah me neither. But this deck ain't joke! Beast build, with plenty of life support and barriers!
In tank position we use Legendary Maugrim Woods troop "Forest Guardian". FG is one of those gems to skull converter troops, with a twist. He transforms purple gems to base skulls and transforms brown gems to green + allied beasts gain barrier! His 3rd trait gives 50% start to all beast allies aswell!
In 2nd position we use Warden hero with "Rope Dart". Warden seems like a meh class at first glimpse as the class traits are very poor however, it is infact one of the better classes in this game for green teams, in my opinion. It is basically a copy Archer but it has actually useful lvl 70 talent in the tree. That Banishment is very useful against some particular decks, especially in PvP. However we aren't gonna need that here, but we will benefit a lot from green storm start, root trap, and especially Hunter's Mark. Also as Warden makes us beast type hero, we will gain Barrier everytime FG casts his spell. And get that 50% start too.
In 3rd position we use Silverglade mythic beast type troop "Queen Aurora". Her spell gives all other allies barrier and [Magic + 1] life and creates 10 gems of a chosen color. She is basically your support troop, which can help to create needed gems on the board. Purples which to convert to skulls or yellows for mana generation. You choose what you need. Her 3rd trait gains bonus mana from all gem matches.
In 4th position we use very familiar troop from Shentang, epic rarity beast "Moon Rabbit". We use him (her?) to get things rolling by converting all blue gems to yellow. Spell also gives [Magic + 1] Life to all other Allies and then Blesses the first ally. Not that of a big deal in E12 but very useful in PvP.
Not the fastest team out there but very safe with nice loopy mechanics!
Deck mechanics:
Cast Moon Rabbit if conversion alignment is found.
Keep using Forest Guardian and Rope Dart to maintain loop.
Use Queen Aurora to support other troops with barriers and create gems to help with alignments.
