GeraScopia is missing a lot of QoL features that make getting into it initially a little rough. But, it is definitely worth sticking to it and try to get one of multiple endings. Combat is a bit difficult due to having to equip your weapon, aim it, and then shoot through an odd selection of inputs. No map, and the lighting is constantly dark even with the assist mode.
