In this video, I discuss the amiibo functionality and its return in the upcoming game The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. I explain what to expect when scanning amiibo and how they can be used unlock exclusive in-game drops such as themed weapons and daily crafting materials, as well as a loot chest that can reward players with specialty clothing sets and exclusive sailcloth patterns for your paraglider. However, these items are randomized and locked behind expensive or out of print amiibo which are difficult to obtain, especially since the drops are not guaranteed and you are limited to scanning each amiibo once a day.
To solve this issue, I recommend using amiibo cards which work the same as the real amiibo. These cards are an affordable alternative and can be purchased on Amazon in the link below.
