A remix mashup of the songs “Get Low” by Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz and the song “Paris” by MOON from the OST of Hotline Miami. The remix itself is by me, Dom (s4videos).

(Optional to read) backstory as to how I made this: My cousin's getting married in August. At her engagement party music was playing in the restaurant. The music was low so I couldn't make out the song. Only the beat was audible. To me it sounded like the song Paris from Hotlime Miami. But how could it be? There's no way the song would randomly be playing at the restaurant. I got closer to the source of the music and realized the song was actually Get Low by Lil Jon. This gave me the idea: WHAT IF I were to purchase fast food and disguise it as my own cooking? I mean, WHAT IF I were to mash the 2 songs together? They have the same beat, so maybe they have the same beats-per-minute. AND THEY DO. So I did some sound editing and created this amazingly amazing song. That's the story.

After the song was made, (the quickest and easiest part of making this video) I then got started on making the thumbnail and the visuals of the video. The thumbnail is basically the Hotline Miami logo but with different text. This was very difficult to make. The real logo has a lot of fine details. Weirdly the easy part was finding the right font. It's strangely well documented on the internet.

The way I made the video's visuals is crazy. I took the CD album cover for the album where the song Get Low comes from and used it as the base. It looks like Lil Jon standing next to 2 other guys. I opened Source Filmmaker and posed characters to resemble the CD album cover. I then digitally painted over the 3D-renders to make Lil Jon stand next to the 2 main characters of Hotline Miami (Biker and Jacket). I then coloured and shaded the art. I make digital painting like I make sprites, starting with selecting colour palettes. Anyways when the art was done I made a version with hallowed out eyes. I took the song and used a music visualizer online and recorded the output. I put all the assets into my video editing program and layered everything in such a way that the visualizer's graphic were in the eyes of the characters. Next I made the background. I made a large skyline from sprite art. Every building is unique and does not repeat. I made the palm trees out of sprites that I made. There are 9 unique trees and I doubled the amount by mirroring them. I'm not going to make a million unique tree sprites man. That's just too much work. Anyways I edited it all together and that's it.

Oh yeah, I edited Lil Jon's hat to change the NBA logo to Jerma's Monstertruck Butt. ...Why? Because it made me die of laughter for a solid few hours.

Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed this video and song as much as I did creating it. This took a million years to make so use the JOIN button to make the massive amount of time I put into this remotely financially worth it. This video uses copywritten music so I make $0 from it otherwise. Look, let's make a deal, if someone does it I'll release the city and palm tree sprites to the public by adding them to the description of this video. Au revoir.
