The TV presenter Gethin Jones has visited British troops in Afghanistan ahead of Remembrance Sunday.

The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant and Blue Peter presenter has spent the last two weeks filming special programmes about the work of British troops in theatre.

He found time to take in a five kilometre run for World Mental Health Day and to meet troops at various locations. He even dropped into the BFBS radio studios at Camp Bastion for a chat over the airwaves and to talk to British Forces News.
