Getting 1800+ points in the Extra Hard batting course - Yakuza 3 Remastered

Now this one's quite the challenge. In order to get Blue Bat's Glory, a design source needed for Weapon Modding, you need to get more than 1800 points in the Extra Hard Course at the Batting Center.
The Extra Hard Course not only separates the target (making it impossible to hit more than one at once), but also takes away your aiming cursor. Finding a solution to this problem is easy: go to any other course, check where the cursor is and mark that point in your screen by applying tape on it.
Now, when it comes to actually hitting the balls, everyone does it differently. Thanks to CyricZ's guide on GameFAQs you can check the speed of every throw and memorize how fast each one is. Some people use that same guide to count how many seconds each ball takes to get in "hitting" range. Others prefer looking at Kiryu and hitting the balls just when he changes his stance.
As for me, I mainly focused on the balls themselves. By checking at what distance from the screen they become hittable, I got the hang of when exactly I had to press the mouse button in order to hit them.
Either way, keep practicing and you should be able to do this.
