WARNING: slightly surprising music pops in in this video, please read the text to find out what I should have been talking about at that time.

Redemption and guns! It's like red dead redemption, except samurai instead of cowboys, so basically exactly the same if we believe Akira Kurosawa.

My opponent really surprised me by taking that melee focused army, but I still could have handled that better. The No Dachi were taken because I wanted to banzai through the bullets to instantly kill their guns, but that didn't really come about.

In this case, I can't honestly say I would have played it much different than I did. To kill the Shogitai, I had to use my sword units, and I did have to keep my cavalry ready in case he came around the back side with those yari katchi. What I should have done is made sure my bases were covered in the event he brought a melee heavy army, just as he did.

Practice cycle charging, it's a really, really useful skill to use if you have the micro. Sometimes, as here, it's the only way you can win a match.

I hope this has been helpful, and let's all get up to the top! If you're playing this along with me, tell me how your games have been going.
