0Hey everyone! As you may know, the new Stalker game, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, is releasing tomorrow, November 20, 2024. In anticipation of the new release, I'll be playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, the last Stalker game released in 2009. A military expedition to the center of the Zone has mysteriously vanished. As Major Degtyarev, an operative of the Security Service of Ukraine in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, your mission is to uncover the reason and determine the status of the missing personnel.
UNCHARTED LANDS
The Exclusion Zone around the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant is ablaze with more anomalous activity than ever. Destructive energy emissions inundate it daily, opening its core for exploration to only the most seasoned and daring individuals. Chart your course through the marshy Zaton, the industrial complexes of the "Jupiter" plant, the deserted town of Pripyat, and the top-secret catacombs untouched by stalkers since the disaster.
NEW THREATS
The Zone has become increasingly unpredictable and perilous, warping reality with its energy. You must find refuge during sudden emissions and exercise considerable creativity to navigate new anomaly types. Prepare to confront the Chimera – the most formidable predator of these lands at night, and the telepathic mutant Burer in the most desolate of abandoned locales.
THE SEQUEL TO THE STORY
While the solitary stalker life has its charms, in Call of Pripyat, you are tasked with a specific goal. Throughout your travels, you will encounter numerous wanderers and inhabitants.
