But even if you've played a lot, and your level is in the 4 digits... sometimes a ghost event FEELS like a hunt. Granted this bursting lightbulb was a sure sign it was an event and not a hunt. Back in the early days of Phasmophobia, you could tell if the ghost was hunting by the flashing flashlight.... but now the ghost does that whenever it's visible AND near you.
