G.I.T.S. is a series of Manga, later adapted into a movie, and then into several video games. The Playstation game made by Sugar & Rockets (Previously Exact & Ultra and later SCEI) is an early-mid PSX title, releasing in 1997 - though it was extremely advanced for its time.
The game isn't without a few flaws, but they're not major.
