Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (PS2) Playthrough Part 14 - Suppressors, Really?
9Oh my god, these guns are some of the worst pieces of s**t, I've ever used in a game. I know the game's called Advanced Warfighter, but did they forget to modify the weapons that they use (assault rifle for the majority of the time), to fire in a freakin' straight line?
Thankfully, the rifles work fine, and I'm a decent enough marksman to make due with any type of rifle that they give me, excluding rocket launchers. So with all that going for the game, why in the hell would they just put in a section with suppressed weapons? Because they sound cool? No, that couldn't be it. Wait, is it because they make the weapon that they're attached to fire a bit more accurately? No, that's not it, either. Or, could it be that the game developers wanted to add in something to piss off the player, by attaching something to his rifle that makes it even more inaccurate than it was in just standard form. Now, I see why terrorists (in Tom Clancy games) use AK-47s, and why FPS Russia highly recommends the use of one in case of a zombie outbreak. They do a damn good job at making something that needs to die, die!
The standard MRC is the only other assault rifle that does a half way decent job in the game. Everything else, or should I say, the remodified, modified, whatever version of the MRC doesn't work! Why can't I choose my own weapon load out from the beginning of the mission, rather than.... whoa, whoa, whoa (spoilers, man!)
