A 1-credit clear of the arcade game G.I. Joe, played with WolfMAME 0.219. Score: 2,399. A fun game similar to Devastators, or to Cabal except here you're running forward most of the time. The satisfying secondary weapon is great for offense and defense.

You have 2 lives, and you can take 2 hits before you die; occasionally, if you have rapid-fire, the enemies drop health packs that restore one hit. Your health is also refilled after each mission: After defeating Baroness and after defeating Destro.

Destro battle is the key to the run. If you lose a life to him, it's hard to recover on the final mission, and you'll have a hard time with Cobra Commander. If you finish him off on your first life, you get a health refill, and if you survive to Cobra Commander and know the basic strats, that fight is easier by comparison. For me the 1st part of the Destro fight was the scariest. Knowing which minion types actually attack in each phase is important.
