GigaSword Demo - Your Giant Sword is a Weapon and a Puzzle Tool
57A demo playthrough of GigaSword, a game that describes itself as an action-puzzle metroidvania with a giant sword that weighs you down. Because it weighs you down you often have to find ways to transport it around maps while you jump and climb about. It also gets used to open gates and doors and appears your sword will be upgraded over the game to open special doors. Combat seems pretty straightforward and the iframes from moves like the falling thrust are quite generous.
Overall it's a pretty fun idea to play with. I probably could have backtracked to open the other emerald doors but figure they probably only held extra collectibles.
While this demo doesn't have much in terms of story the Kickstarter page does elaborate more on it.
