I was routing God of War: Ascension live on stream when I stumbled upon a mysterious glitch. Unfortunately you will hear me speaking on this video, but hopefully you can live with it.

It's as if Chapter 3 didn't start properly. The grapple point from Chapter 2 didn't disappear mid-flight like it should have. Camera didn't become updated - instead it stayed zoomed in on Kratos. When I went to pull the switch, there was no cutscene at all. Finally, I could start the Cyclops fight but the Cyclops himself was absent, causing me to get stuck. Retrying from last checkpoint helped things, making the Cyclops finally appear and I could play on from that point like normal.

I later tried to reproduce this glitch, but to no avail. I don't know what caused it to happen... maybe I examined the grapple point so fast that the game became confused? If this could be done at will, it would in fact be a small timesave since you skip a filler cutscene. Maybe the mystery will be solved some day.
