More glitches & observations from God of War: Ascension... now with 120% more T-pose!

I: you can skip the 5 seconds long cutscene where Megaera boasts at Kratos right at the start of Chapter 1 by doing continuous Unarmed Jump to the right from on top of the collapsed pillar. Kratos apparently bounces on some angled collision and skips the trigger entirely. This causes the first bug enemies to not load and one of Megaera's speech clips won't play - and a little time is saved.

II: in Chapter 3, in some circumstances, maybe if you're too fast, enemies won't load at the elevator so the fight intro cutscene becomes a bit glitched. Megaera won't speak and the camera zooms in to show nothing. Afterwards Kratos is hopelessly stuck since you'd need to kill the non-existent enemies to start using the elevator.

III: rarely Kratos can fall through floor when doing charged air Sword attack. Maybe this happens if death floor is too close beneath the actual floor and Kratos hits it during the attack?

IV: freezing enemies during the part where Heca tosses the building around causes them to twitch oddly. Maybe it's the ambient movement of the level that causes freezing to work strangely.

V: you can use Poseidon's Tremble speed glitch to reach the Castor & Pollux boss arena very very quick. However, the boss is not there yet, so at worst you have to retry. On one occasion I threw a rock and suddenly the game deposited Kratos back to the grapple points prior to reaching the arena...

VI: after fixing the bridge leading to Cistern, you can backtrack and decay it again - while Kratos is standing on it. Sometimes if Kratos is teetering on the edge of falling down he will start shaking as he is holding the Amulet.

VII: retrying from this Chapter 9 checkpoint, an enemy was floating in air in t-pose for no reason.

VIII: you can go out of bounds at the Tower in Chapter 7 by doing an Unarmed Jump against the doorway arch. Kratos can go check out an out of bounds area at the back of the tower this way. The floor basically circles around the entire tower, although you never can visit the back half normally.

IX: at the end of Chapter 8, you can latch onto the first grapple point in the series of grapple points leading to Chapter 9 and jump to the oopposite direction to explore another out of bounds area. You can typically stand on top of all snaketrains, even if they are not a part of the main level.

X: skipping the Kirra waterwheel revisit intro cutscene, saving 15-20 seconds. If you jump to the extreme right side of the stone bridge, Kratos misses the cutscene trigger. Another Shield Jump should get him entirely past the trigger and time is saved.

XI: retrying from the checkpoint past Kirra waterwheel (1st time around), Kratos is shockingly revealed standing in t-pose... this lasts for a few seconds during which you can't control Kratos, then things go back to normal.

XII: it's possible to use upgrading to do classic prompt break-outs, akin to God of War II. In this instance I break out of opening a chest. The chest opens by itself while Kratos is free to do other things, like pout.

To do this, do a Shield attack. Then start running to start the animation where Kratos sheathes his sub-weapon. During this animation he is still subject to upgrading break-outs but can also activate R1 prompts... So time the menu opening carefully with pressing R1, then upgrade break-out. This glitch should happen.

Haven't tested it around the game yet, but it might allows some new loopholes and skips.

XIII: On one attempt Kratos remained in t-pose indefinitely after doing this.

XIV: Tried this with a Sword pick-up as well. It looks like the Sword is duplicated for a second there, then both Swords disappear as Kratos has finished taking the Sword.

XV: going back to Chapter 8 for the finale. In one point in the level Kratos is supposed to latch onto a grapple point and burst through the side of a snaketrain. You can instead not activate the last grapple and do a Shield Jump on top of the snaketrain. Now you can roll instead of slide through this map...

This is not faster than just sliding, but even worse is that the camera will glitch up if you do this. It will not follow Kratos at all. You can reach the upcoming fight and finish it, but to me it seemed like the critical grapple point leading to the next place does not appear at the end... at least I couldn't find it anywhere, and it has a fairly big radius, so it's most likely that it simply doesn't exist at this point.
