You can do Ice Rage-glitch esque effects using the regular Tether too in right circumstances. Hence I think it's the best to call both of them with the umbrella term "wrong target glitches" from now on.

I: alright, well first up is a semi-related clip about how you can occasionally do a full Ice Rage glitch reaction even without a previous target in memory. For some reason this can happen if you land on ground as you start Ice Rage glitch. I guess Kratos legitimately targets the urn in this case? Hard to say, but it doesn't do anything useful so far.

II: simply trying to throw certain enemy types while they're frozen causes Kratos to do a glitchy throw that uses a wrong target. Easy to try out with these Bug enemies for instance. Freeze them, then do a ground throw to them. In this case it brings Megaera close by since she is the previous target.

III: the Hound enemies can be glitch grabbed both on ground and in air. The glitch grab in air can reset Kratos' state and can thus be used for high jumps. Or alternatively, you get glitchy grabs that don't contact with anything.

IV: since the previous target is brought up in air with a wrong target air Tether, you can bring normally un-launchable enemies like Juggernauts and Cerberi in air! Too bad this can't be used to start snazzy air combos or anything since Kratos has a fairly slow recovery from the glitchy Tether.

Yep... It would probably be useful to examine the grab / grapple mechanics in God of War III a bit closer, because there's a chance it has a wrong target glitch (or two) somewhere in it as well.
