Right, I've been playing some completely random games casually as of late, hence some extra incidental glitch videos.

So, Star Trek... Well, it's not a bad game for what it is. A little clunky and basic third-person shooting, and it has some bugs as you'll soon find out. But at least the music was good!

I: dying on a climbing wall sometimes makes you die without an animation. And rarely, as seen here, you enter t-pose upon dying!

II: a speed tactic in one of the early levels. Normally as you hack the bridge you get blocked by an invisible wall when the bridge forms. But if you hack the bridge from right at the edge of the bridge, you can bypass the invisible wall and thus save a little time.

III: by chance I jumped on a table right as I was about to encounter the first enemies in the game. But being on the table, the enemy was unable to find Spock, so the encounter was somewhat anti-climactic.

IV: one of Kirk's favorite hobbies is running against walls pointlessly.

V: another speed tactic. In this part the water becomes electrified and you have to hack some pillars to rise from the water and climb past the obstacle using them. However, if you're fast you can get over a part of the water before it becomes electrified, skipping a part of the climbing section.

VI: Kirk caught on camera again practicing his favorite hobby.

VII: an enemy ambushed me and shot some nearly fatal shots through a friggin' wall!

VIII: and finally, a bug that seems to have ruined my save, so it's unlikely I'll continue Star Trekking any time soon. There's a part in the game where you must hack some consoles before the time runs out. So I basically made it to the last console at the last seconds and the time ran out while I won the hacking mini-game...

Afterwards the game apparently though I had won and failed at the same time. I got a game over screen but the game auto-saved as if I had also completed an objective. When I retried I could continue playing the game, but now there are no new objective markers, so I have no idea what to do or where to go. There's a chance I completely missed a critical trigger.

Sure, I could just restart the level and try again, but eh... I have many other games to try out right now, so I'll use this opportunity to just move on to something else.
