Godzilla: Saves the Earth PS2 Multiplayer Gameplay (Atari) Playstation 2
Heres another multiplayer video, this time me and Wiggy G test out the Atari game callled Godzilla: Saves the Earth.
I was expecting this game to be some kind of 3d version of the classic arcade game Rampage. But was quite suprised to find out its actually a 3d enviroment fighting game in the style of Power Stone for the Sega Dreamcast. In Godzilla: Saves the Earth, you can have upto 4 players battling it out at the same time, unfortunately, theres only 2 of us, so that will have to make do for now.
The graphics are quite nice, and every building in each evel is fully interactive, meaning they can be destroyed in a number of ways, or even lifted out the ground and used as weapons. Each level is quite decent in size, so theres plenty of space to try to run and hide if necessary. Though at times, when trying to get into close range combat, the buildings can get in the way, causing you to take unexpected hits. Each character has its own distinctive move-set, some of which are quite entertaining. The only real flaw i had with this game is the length of time it took to complete each round. At times it seemed to last forever, shortening it would have added to the gameplay. Also at times the controls seemed unresponsive, or the character would move in a different direction than expected, though, it wasnt really an issue. The game is full of enough action to keep you entertained.
Overall id say Godzilla: Saves the Earth is a good game, and one to own which will have some replay value.
