Going where the grid takes us in Cities Skylines 2!
6Today we're back for a new edition of our Cities Skylines 2 build, Azure Delta! Last week we did significant work around moving some of our more noxious industrial uses around oldtown to a new purpose-built industrial area on the other side of the river to enable future growth. Today we reap the benefits of those changes with some brand new residential, commercial and office uses on the land freed up by those planning decisions.
I've tried to continue to be thoughtful in how I've laid out the grid in this episode, and while conforming to the land we have available in the still-contaminated heavy industry zones made the grids a little bit funky, I think overall it looks pretty nice, all things considered.
As you might be aware, official mod support launched for the game last week, and we will look to incorporate more Cities Skylines 2 mods into our builds as we continue. I was also keen to include some of the Cities Skylines 2 beach properties pack assets in our city, though I'm not 100% convinced the pack represents value for money.
