La légende de la hache est bien connue dans tout le pays, car il est dit que cette hache est celle-là même que Gillius Thunderhead a utilisée pour tuer Death Adder. Au fil du temps, les pouvoirs de la hache ont augmenté. On dit que l'artefact peut accorder à son propriétaire tout ce que son cœur désire. Jeunes et vieux, bons et méchants, beaucoup sont attirés par le pouvoir de l'arme. Ainsi commence la guerre de la hache d'or.

The legend of the axe is well known throughout the land, for it is told that this axe is the very one which Gillius Thunderhead used to slay Death Adder. Over time, the powers of the axe have grown. It is said that the artifact can grant its owner anything his or her heart desires. Young and old, good and evil, many are drawn towards the power of the weapon. Thus begins the war of the Golden Axe.
