13Although I had already known this for years, I don't think many fans of either game knew about this. It might be an Easter Egg or could be intentional, but, apparently, GoldenEye 007 in certain levels shared the exact same eerie night sky seen in the iconic Mortal Kombat-like fighting game, Killer Instinct, my favorite in the genre, and can be in various colors in both. It shouldn't be that much of a surprise as those two games were made by Nintendo/Rare and are only three years apart (KI came in 1994, while GoldenEye was '97). This can be seen in Perfect Dark as well, as it had the same game engine. I just find this to be a very interesting fact nobody pointed out!
