So, I wrote the lyrics intending it to be from the Harvest Goddess's point of view. I recorded it high and used that recording to sync the video with while I was making it.

Then suddenly I thought it would be cool to make the Harvest King be singing it too, since the plot being related involves both of them equally, and he IS the first character on screen when the lyrics start... The only problem: the King definitely would NOT say some of the cutesy things about love and friendship that were in the lyrics. xD

So I recorded both high and low versions like a zillion times (I almost never do song projects in one take; I record it zillions of times and then use the best one, or combine the best bits of each... x_x), and tried to split up the lines between the "Goddess" and the "King."

But while mixing it, I happened to get a bunch of audio tracks going at once, and thought it sounded so much cooler. So what was supposed to be a "duet" between the Harvest Goddess and Harvest King ended up sounding more like a chorus... and the lyrics didn't really make sense to be sung by a chorus... Even though I kept the multiple audio tracks as I finished mixing, I hoped that it would be clear enough that it was only from two people's perspectives.

So I finished it, and replaced the high-only version in the current video project with the chorus version... and for some reason, it didn't sync up right!! Something about the flow was different, AND there was way too much going on with the varying voices that it seemed to take attention off the visuals, which were the main point of the whole project.

So I disappointedly decided not to use it, and what ended up in the final video was basically the same as the first high-only version, with a few lines replaced from different recording sessions to reflect some changes I'd made to the lyrics along the way...

SO MANY USELESS RECORDINGS, BLARGH...

But anyway, I didn't really want to let it go to waste, and I think it sounds kinda cool when not having to be synced up to any visuals (makes me want to hear the real "Bad Apple!!" song performed by a much more talented Nico Nico chorus! I'm sure it'd be epic), so I posted it just in case anyone wants to hear this version...
