Google Pixel 3 XL vs OnePlus 6 vs Huawei P20 Pro
We compare the Pixel 3 XL side-by-side with the OnePlus 6 and Huawei's P20 Pro, to see if Google's flagship phone is the best Android mobile of 2018. Full comparison of the specs, camera tech, battery life, speed and best features - is the Pixel 3 XL really worth that steep UK asking price?
The OnePlus 6 is still incredible value for money, and may drop with the OnePlus 6T launch in late October - while the P20 Pro is already cheaper thanks to the imminent Mate 20 release. So Google's Pixel 3 XL is the most expensive of these three handsets, starting at £869.
For that price you get vanilla Android Pie, although the Pixel 3 XL is the only phone here to sport a single lens rear camera - the P20 Pro's tri-lens camera is still our favourite smartphone shooter of 2018. That said, you get a dual-lens selfie cam with Google's flagship, offering a wide-angle view on demand.
As for performance, the OnePlus 6 and Pixel 3 XL are closely matched with their Snapdragon 845 chipsets. Huawei's Pro phone isn't far behind, while GPU Turbo keeps gaming slick.
