Gorgeous & Smooth Hack & Slash Roguelite | Lost In Random: The Eternal Die Demo Gameplay
4Hello everyone! Another demo from the Steam Next Fest. This is Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an upcoming top-down hack & slash roguelite, apparently sequel from the previous Lost In Random (which I haven't played). Graphics and the whole sound department are outstanding, action and combat in general feels incredibly smooth, and the addition of the board and dice adds an extra of uniqueness to the game so it doesn't feel like just another action roguelike.
My few problems with the game would be the amount of traps so early in the game,;the hitboxes of the boss' attacks were huge, making the combat mostly about waiting and waiting and then attack, and I wasn't a fan of that; and the stun card felt pretty useless, considering it was only one charge that takes a lot to complete. Besides that, quite a good game, I am just sad I was playing it thinking I don't stagger enemies.
