Graham Farish 371-359 | Class 60 Diesel Locomotive | 60100 DB Cargo | N Gauge | Review | HD
Hello and a warm welcome to my first N gauge model train review to come from me for November 2022. This is my review of the Graham Farish Class 60 as 60100 in the DB Cargo livery. The reference number is 371-359 that is a brand new 2022 model train release from Bachmann/Graham Farish. The model has been upgraded with a Next18 DCC input and has a sugar cube 1 watt 8ohm speaker installed. This version is DCC ready but there will be a sound fitted version to come in the future.
Performance is great thanks to the almost silent digital coreless motor that this model train has and it handle the three TEA tanker wagons in BP livery with ease. This is because of the heavy metal chassis that aids traction for this freight locomotive. The weight is about 100g/5oz.
The model train has NEM couplers and comes with detailing parts in the form of a full valance that can be applied to one or both ends of the model. Its up to the owner on how they want to use these parts to their desires. The price is about the same of 13-15 packets of cigarettes. So you can guess from the price of that to gauge the value of this model. All in all, this is a very nice model from Bachmann/Graham Farish. However sadly due to not having functional marker lights. I have deducted one point from the final score.
Overall Rating: 9/10.
