Like I said last video, in addition to it I have 4 more online races recorded & ready to get up. The first 3 all took place before all the free roam stuff from the last video as this was all recorded on the same night (2/20) but these 3 races are all special as for the first time ever, we're racing on my own custom track. I made it a LONG time ago back not long after I got the game for my 15th b-day (summer 2014) so well over 5½ years ago now. Just recently within the last week or so gave it a major update & added lots more barriers to help keep people on the main path. Also added some ramps in a couple places. The track path itself has never changed. It's basically an all highway race taking you around the entire map hence why I've appropriately named it "Highways of LS." Starts & ends at the beach on the west side of the map & usually takes about 10 mins or so to loop the course depending on what you use & how clean your run is so sub 10 minute runs are possible. This was obviously meant to be a long race & that's what I like about it. Wasn't at all hard to make as it's no different really than how you'd do it on Midnight Club 2 onwards, just took a long time is all. It's worth noting that since I made this long before stunt races ever existed, this will be the first normal race on the channel since quite a while ago. Done quite a number of either solo runs or 2 car races against my younger cousin, MrExcommunicado. But this is the first race I've ever run where it's more than just the 2 of us, 4 cars total here for the first race.

So I decided to bring out my custom Pagani Huayra for this, one of the newest additions to my 70+ car collection. All is well at first until the 1:00 mark when douche purple car decides to just ram my cousin into me & me into the wall triggering a massive wreck involving everyone. I escaped with the least trouble but the other 3 all spun out. Doesn't matter though as the "catch up" feature, also known as "rubberbanding", was on so with that combined with his superiorly more upgraded machine as he was a level 119 while I was only a level 68 at the time, and he's caught back up to me in less than a minute then proceeds to ram me nearly head on into a highway lane divider stopping me cold. Now I'm pissed off & ready to go after his ass. But before I caught him, he hit the ramp on the first of the 2 big bridges over by the docks & crashed so I let it go & just passed him to take the lead back & went on my way. 3 minutes of alone time in the lead later and he finally catches me again as we're now in the desert only to hit the ramp that goes over the highway overpass at 5:30 wrecking himself again. This is when I knew he was hitting the ramps on purpose just for the fun of it. And even though they are fun to get air from, you lose quite a bit of time, even if you land on all 4 wheels. Obviously you can't accelerate when your tires aren't in contact with the ground.

A little later at 7:02 as we're now circling around Mt.Chiliad, he catches up again & takes another crack at trying to wreck me only to turn himself instead. Doesn't matter though since he caught up again in under a minute and went back by me. First time he actually passed me cleanly since the beginning of the race so there's that atleast. But 30 seconds later on another huge bridge this time nearly completely covered in ramps except in the middle most part of the road, he hits one & completely flies off the bridge/track, forcing him to reset & giving me breathing room again. Sure enough though fate would have it that he catches me again one last time right at the finish with just enough time to ram me, causing me to literally spin around the finish line making me lose 7 seconds while I have to literally turn around to get back to it while his cheating ass gets the win. Good thing he left after this cause I'd have kicked his ass otherwise. Nothing pisses me off more than losing a race on my own custom tracks. And this isn't the first time that's happened, especially in this manner. My cousin was never able to recover from the big crash at the beginning & finished 3rd, 27 seconds back while the 4th guy just quit not long after that huge wreck. 3 more races to get up after this & 2 more at my custom track so the action ain't over yet so stay tuned.
