Cherise Glover is a minor character in Grand Theft Auto IV. She was once the girlfriend of Dwayne Forge and later started to date Jayvon Simson, the man who ratted out Dwayne.

Events of GTA IV
While she was hanging out at an arcade in Chinatown with Jayvon, Dwayne sent Niko Bellic to kill Jayvon. There, Niko had the choice to either execute Cherise or let her live. If he'd choose to let her live, she'd become a character he'd meet on the street.

Random Characters
She can be found in front of the Cluckin' Bell, in Northwood.
Through the reunion, Niko learns that Cherise's new boyfriend is beating her. Niko then takes her to the northernmost apartments in Northwood, just a few blocks away from the Cluckin' Bell Niko found her at. Niko approaches Cherise's boyfriend who is in the apartment courtyard. This would be leading to Niko beating and warning him to stay away from Cherise. The player can also choose to kill him, which will lead to Cherise being angry at Niko and she tells him to stay away from her. No matter the situation, she will make no further appearances in the game.
If Dwayne is alive, he calls you soon afterward and jealously asks if Niko and Cherise are seeing each other, to which Niko denies.

Cutscene - on a street corner in Northwood

Cherise: Niko! Niko!
Niko: Hey... uh, do I know you?
Cherise: Yeah, you know me... Cherise? I used to go out with Dwayne. You... you know, you...
Niko: I spared you?
Cherise: Yeah.
Niko: Why did you stop me? What do you want?
Cherise: Well I just wanted to say thank you, you know, for your kindness.
Niko: Huh, I'm not always kind. Don't worry about it. What are you up to?
Cherise: Well, after... after what happened, you know, I just wanted to change my life, turn things around. You know, no more gang bangers and drug dealers. Turn over a new leaf, you know?
Niko: Good for you.
Cherise: Yeah, and things was... they were going pretty well, but... I like danger. The only thing is... danger don't like me! [crying]
Niko: Hey, hey... What's wrong?
Cherise: Nothing. It's my own stupid fault. I deserve to be hit.
Niko: Who's hitting you?
Cherise: My boyfriend. Please don't do anything!
Niko: I'm not going to kill him. I'm just going to teach him not to hit women.

-Get into a vehicle-

Cherise: He over in the project up on Frankfort Avenue, please don't kill him.

-Driving - heading up to the project-

Niko: Maybe your problem is getting involved with all these drug dealers and two bit pushers?
Cherise: I had some bad luck with my men. You right, I should find a man who ain't in the life.
Niko: Get rid of this guy before thinking about another.

-Driving - heading up to the project-

Niko: If I tell this guy to stay the fuck away from you, I don't want to hear about you going back to him.
Cherise: You right, I'll stay away from him. Won't mess with no more gangsters, no more thugs. Cherise is gonna get her ass outta the ghetto.

-Outside the project-

Cherise: That's the thug over there!
Niko: Wait here, I'll teach him his lesson.
[Niko approaches the thug.]
Niko: Hey, you think beating women is cool?
Thug: Hell, you talking about Cherise? How that bitch expected to learn if I ain't giving her the stick? I give her the carrot as well but she don't complain about that.
Niko: You won't think this is so funny when you're the one crying like a bitch.

-After severely damaging the thug-

Niko: Stay the fuck away from Cherise and any other women you'd think about beating.
Thug: Yo, yo, bitch won't get no more calls from this fool. Yo I staying away from everybody. Not even gonna look at a bitch. For real.

-Cutscene - on the sidewalk-

Niko: He ain't going to beat you no more. Get out, away from here. I gave you a chance when I first met you. Use it.
Cherise: I'm gonna try. That's the least I can do. See you and thanks.
