I think the holy soul blade lowering defense (with warp and combo 4 (I had to edit out Mareg doing beast king blast which is a situational effect move for enemies surrounding him) to increase chance and quicken action) forces the AI to cast useless diggin’. Let alone Elena’s nightmare ball puts the pieces to sleep. No excuse why this is so easy yet Valmar’s body can party wipe if you don’t slow down action for the cheap suck in combo.
Maybe the difficulty comes from not having Elena, similar to Suikoden 5 when Georg Prime isn’t there, which is funny (and I wouldn’t bother with slow story/high encounters though later hardware reduces the load times.
At least I got revenge for that guy who got killed when I cured his alcoholism. Though unfortunately you don't see a lot of the violence/gore with this or Selene's cult suicide.
