(English below) Gameplay de Graven, que ayer salió por fin del acceso anticipado. Desde que se anunció, este juego me llamó la atención, por lo que pasó directamente a mi lista de deseados de Steam. Creo que a todos nos recuerda a juegos como Hexen o Heretic, aunque en realidad, el juego es bastante diferente, hay más aventura y exploración que en los juegos de Raven, incluso un toque metroidvania, pero no hay duda de que la inspiración está ahí. Fulqrum Publishing, la editora del juego, muy amablemente me ha cedido una clave del juego para que lo pudiese probar.

El juego hasta donde he jugado me está gustado mucho. La ambientación y el aspecto artístico son geniales, la exploración es divertida, y el combate, sin ser de lo mejor, está bien (creo que le faltaría un poco más de contundencia en las magias, aunque quizás eso mejore más adelante). En general, un juego divertido, y me está enganchando bastante, que es lo más importante en un juego así. En este vídeo muestro gameplay hasta encender el faro, una de las primeras misiones principales que tenemos que cumplir. Como el juego está traducido a mi idioma, lo juego en español (gameplays en inglés seguro que hay muchos más).

Por cierto, por alguna razón, el vídeo de introducción me va a trompicones. Por PC no será, con un i9-13900K, RTX 4090 y 64Gb de RAM. Bueno, como siempre, supongo que le limarán asperezas con parches en los próximos días o semanas. Por lo demás, el juego me va perfectamente fluido a 4K y con todo en ultra (cualquier aparente bajada de frames durante el gameplay es cosa de la grabación, luego también por alguna razón que desconozco, youtube me añade más durante la compresión).

Gameplay of Graven, which finally came out of early access yesterday. Since it was announced, this game caught my attention, so it went directly to my Steam wishlist. I think it reminds us all of games like Hexen or Heretic, although in truth, the game is quite different, there's more adventure and exploration than in Raven's games, even a metroidvania touch, but there's no doubt that the inspiration is there. Fulqrum Publishing, the publisher of the game, very kindly gave me a key of the game so I could try it.

The game as far as I've played it I like it a lot. The setting and the art design are great, the exploration is fun, and the combat, without being the best, is fine (I think it lacks a little more forcefulness in the spells, but maybe that will improve later). Overall, a fun game that has hooked me, which is the most important thing in a game like this. In this video I show gameplay up to lighting the lighthouse, one of the first main missions to accomplish. As the game is translated into my language, I play it in Spanish (gameplays in English for sure there are many more).

By the way, for some reason, the intro video has stuttering. It won't be because of my PC, with an i9-13900K, RTX 4090 and 64Gb of RAM. Well, as always, I guess they'll fix the game with patches in the next days or weeks. Otherwise, the game runs perfectly smooth at 4K and with everything in ultra (any apparent drop in frames during the gameplay is because the recording, also for some reason I don't know, youtube adds more during compression).
