Gravity Circuit: Part 10: Hash/Cipher Circuit Stage (100% Completed)
The last Rebel Circuit stage I take on in this playthrough is the Warehouse Area, led by Hash, the Cipher Circuit.
Why there? A lot of the city's computers have been getting hacked, and Kernel suspects that Hash is launching those hacking attacks somewhere in those warehouses.
Kernel wants Kai to shut Hash's operations down, mainly before he can reach his personal files (what does he have to hide, there, hmmmm...?).
----------
This stage starts out pretty straightforward. You do go through a warehouse.
But just one minute into the level, you find a portal...
It takes you right into a cyberspace, where the level REALLY begins!
----
In this cyberspace, terrain and hazards will constantly appear and disappear as you approach them. You'll have to hit different switches in order to make some of these elements solid or intangible. These switches can take the form of Red Squares, less common Blue Circles, and even rarer Green Triangles.
There will also be digital doors to unlock, which will be broken open by smashing their keys free.
At one point, you'll have to unlock a row of four of these via different portals leading to different paths, and one of these paths will turn everything upside-down, including your vertical controls.
Also, even before you reach Hash, if you screw up, there's a chance that a hologram of him will appear to mock and laugh at you for it.
----------
Eventually, Kai runs into the REAL Hash, the Cipher Circuit, himself. He seems pretty full of himself when it comes to his hacking prowess.
Hash loves to teleport, clone holograms of himself, and set traps. Watch how for his biggest trap, his Burst Technique called Pattern Reflection.
Oh, and you can also get an Achievement if you can hit him while he's laughing. When you defeat him, he won't be able to believe it.
----------
The video this time will stop right after I'm done with this stage, because something significant is about to happen once all 8 Rebel Circuits have been defeated.
But I will say this from what I know in a different run of this game: Kernel will be relieved that Hash won't be able to get into his personal files anymore, while Nega will talk about just how much he was always full of himself as a Circuit with incredible computer capabilities that has tended to lead him to be more of a burden to the other Circuits rather than an asset.
If you found the Palette Chip of this stage, you can pay Prim to give you the Scheming Pink alt color, which lets you wrap and teleport through solid objects, but only for a couple of seconds and then it will need more time than that to recharge.
Beating the Cipher Circuit will also have Nega sell his Clone Array and Hologram Trap as Burst Techniques...
...Or he WOULD'VE in this game... if not for what said significant thing happens next at this point of this playthrough...
