Great American Scream Machine - OpenRCT2
30Great American Scream Machine was an Arrow mega-looping coaster that formerly operated at Six Flags Great Adventure. This iconic coaster opened to the public on April 15, 1989, and stood 173 feet tall with a drop of 155 feet, featuring a max speed of 68 mph and a whopping 7 inversions. As a result of the tragedies at the Haunted House and Lightnin' Loops attractions in the 1980s, guest attendance was at an all-time low and the park was at risk of closing down; the introduction of Scream Machine rescued the park, and will forever be remembered a Great Adventure classic. RIP!
This roller coaster can be found in the Six Flags Great Adventure park scenario in RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. In this video, I modified the layout, added in custom supports, and brushed up some of the theming. I also show Viper (the park's former TOGO steel coaster) updated with OpenRCT2's new track pieces.
