In this excerpt from my larger GT review video, I take a quick look at just one example of Dragon Ball GT's most infamous issue: Great Ideas with Terrible Execution. Why does this climactic moment with Rilld, which SHOULD feel like a huge deal, fall so flat? The series is plagued with this issue from start to finish, and it ranges from major, overall ideas for full story arcs that sound good on paper but end up failing in the end, all the way to something like this: The presentation of what SHOULD be a powerful and impressive Kamehameha against Goku's biggest opponent yet... feels limp and rushed instead.
