GREAT Roguelike DECKBUILDER Has Just Been Released From EA | Three Kingdoms: The Blood Moon - Part 1
Hello everyone! Here we are with a new release. This is Three Kingdoms: The Blood Moon, a roguelike deckbuilder that has just been released from early access. It is clearly inspired by Slay The Spire, but it innovates enough to feel fresh. The main mechanic of the game is that basically you only play one attacks and some skills during your turn, while the defensive cards you can only play them before the enemy attacks. Really enjoyable gameplay.
I have a few things to clarify. First, when you can defend, it is not necessary that you play defensive cards, you can also attack instead.
Also, after rewatching this I realized I completely missunderstood the Counter Execute card... That one wasn't meant to counterattack execute actions, it was meant to be played during the enemy turn, to unleash execute when enemies would attack you. Huge messed up on my side, but I still don't like the card unless I have enough healing (because it doesn't block the damage).
